search in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries,
as well as a broad spectrum of general management assignments.

regulatory affairs, clinical, human resources, product development and finance.
She has also developed and executed successful recruitment campaigns to find
one-of-a-kind candidates for clients with unusual needs.

to detail while envisioning the big picture, her finely-honed instincts about
people and leadership. Her many and varied clients have included Varian
Medical Systems, Genomic Health, Alexza, Chemdex, Valley Labs, Webex, and
First Franklin Financial Corporation.
In 2001, Laura achieved status as a Certified Management Consultant.
The CMC (Certified Management Consultant) designation is awarded to those
select consultants who have demonstrated a history of substantive results
for clients, adherence to the canon of ethics of the Institute of Management
Consultants USA, and professional practice management. Global standards of
technical competence and professional conduct are set by the 43-nation
International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI). At this
time, about 1,000 consultants -- less than 1% of all active professional
management consultants in the United States -- have been recognized with the
CMC.
